Subject: coolant temp guage trouble shooting
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hello all, The coolant temp gauge on my 86 GL isn't functioning. I believe that the sensor is OK it was replaced when the heads were done in Oct. I've checked all connections and looked at the Bentley manual but I don't really know were to go from there. I need to check the gauge itself does anyone know a simple test to check it without pulling the instrument cluster? The red light for the coolant level works and lights up fine with I place the key in the ignition. Thanks, Mark
