Mike We bought our Westfalia van about 5 years ago. The stock front shocks were completely shot. I bought two Monroe shocks for the front. (I think they were the "gas adjust" model) These shocks made a world of difference to the handling of the van. A year later I replaced the back shocks with some KYB's. This also improved the handling. When I bought the Monroe shocks I did not know about the other brands available, but I have had no complaints with them. George '85 Wesfalia
