Try doing that to a graymarket vehicle (in California) which has not gone thru the proper import certification process. I think you will find that states like Rhode Island, Nevada, & Georgia (just to name a few) are much more pleasant places to deal w/ these types of vehicles. If you don't want to pay the $225 (another company identified earlier last month in this forum charges $350) find a friendly listmember in one of those states to assist you.
