I believe there is a section in the Bentley on removing the various rear cabinets as well as the overhead A/C unit. This might show you how they are attached. Of course, if you don't have a Bentley, this won't help. I do know the Westy has a different roof than the GL. It's flat to accommodate the upper bunk. ----- Original Message ----- From: "MacLachlan, Bill" <Bill.MacLachlan@CITY.BURNABY.BC.CA> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Friday, December 27, 2002 4:51 PM Subject: Over the bed storage

I'm thinking of putting an over the bed storage cupboard in my GL....full width of van, no clothes closet.. Any info on how the westy over the bedstorage attaches to the ceiling of the van? Anyone else put a shelf/cupboard like this in and can give me some pointers?

Thanks all Bill M 82 GL
