My 88 Westy has a very burnt distributor cap (inside) and the rotor doesn't look much better. Replacing the cap is simple, but what about the rotor? Is it a simple matter of removing the cap and pulling on the rotor until it decides to pop off? Or, do I need to "crush" the old rotor, as suggested by another non-Vanagon owner? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Matthew Vancouver CANADA Go Canada Go! (World Junior Hockey Championships currently in Halifax, Nova Scotia) |
