Wow, 18 - 19 psi.  Sounds like you turned up the fueling.
Yeah, with those Eco-diesel pumps you lose a lot of potential.


I've tried propane fumigation with the VW 1.6 TD, it's a lot of hassle and
all but you can get a LOT more out of the little 1.6TD.  I suspect that when
you start pushing it that far you sacrifice longevity.  Watch the
Pyrometer!!
