Subject: Advice on buying a 91 Vanagon.
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="Windows-1252"

Hello friends; I have been looking for a newer van (already have a nice 85). After many months I found a white 91 automatic (w/air) that seems VERY nice; 150,000 miles on original engine and tranny.

No rust, all very tight, lots of work done on it recently and has always been in CA (no northern weather). Drives VERY nice and other than a few minor cosmetic dings is in great shape.

Owners were asking $6,300, I got them down to $4750. Does this sound like a good price?

Thanks; I appreciate any input...

Herr Brandt.
