I like others are experiencing idle problems and I've been following these threads closely. I'm looking for simple ways to identify if either the control valve or the stabilizer is the culprit. I've ruled out problems with: plugs, wires, cap, rotor, timing, coil, injectors and fuel filter. I have 91 which runs fine but before I start swapping digifant items I'd like to have an idea were to start. Is the idle control valve supposed to "hum" with the ignition turned on? Mine does not. Is the idle stabilizer supposed to vibrate with ignition turned on? Mine does Thanks, Marcus 91 Carat (taking a long winters nap) 86 GL (the erratic idler)
