I have a Blaupunkt Reno installed where the POS Heidyburg was before. This is a cassette/AM-FM/CD Changer/Aux In unit that has worked flawlessly for many years. I have an A-08 changer also installed. It has an aux input in the form of a sub-min stereo jack. Selectable from the front panel, the RC06H remote or the steering wheel mounted Thummer. You can hook up your PC line out to the van speakers or the Nomad Jukebox or the Nomad II or any line out audio doodad. I find it handy. YMMV of course. No security codes to forget. Reno's are "out of fashion" and can be had cheaply on many venues. The Aspen is a Dolby B version, the Sydney is a smart card version. The remote is a major feature for me. Ask bent, he'll tell you how lazy one can be. p |
