If you have a friend with GPS about 15 mins is all it would take to get a fix on the accuracy. I have an '84 Westy and with 205/70 x 14 tires my speedo is less than 2 mph optimistic at 75 mph. I even checked it at 90 mph and its 2 mph off at that speed. My van speedo is more accurate than my more modern BMW. I use a Handspring Visor PDA with a plug in GPS module. cheers, Steve |
