Sounds good, but remember that wash water will then be a hot spot, i.e. if
you miss a few drops and reuse a plate before it's dried, etc. you still
have risk of contamination. Plus, any towel you use for drying dishes is
contaminated. I would aim for clean water for everything if I were you.
The outside filters sound interesting, I wonder if they'd give you a couple
of samples to test, based on your upcoming journey and affiliation with so
many potential buyers.....
Hmmmm.....
I also had the thought that you could just filter as you're filling, then
throw iodine or chlorine purification tablets in the tank as well. The tabs
could also serve as your backup plan if the filters clogged.
