Greetings - I am having a very difficult time starting my 87 westy this last week. It seems only one or two cylinders are firing at first and will stop quickly without the help of the starter turning. After about 5 minutes of this the other cylinders kick in reluctantly. For the next 10 minutes or so one of the cylinders kicks in and out till the engine warms up. After one of these hard starting sessions I was on a 500 mile highway trip and even after one hour one of the cylinders was intermittently operating although it ran well after about 3 hours for the rest of the trip home. My first thought is to replace the spark plugs but I fear stripping the threads since its cold now in Indiana. Any input would be appreciated. Mike Kozak 87 westy
