If the van has seen much time on salted roads, brace yourself for this possibility. Should you need a replacement fuel tank, try to find a good used one. An original Vanagon fuel tank will, after many years, rust from the outside in, whereas the aftermarket junk will quickly rust from the inside out. George George |
