ALL IMAGE! that's about it. these are teh same people who drove economy cars a couple uears ago as that ws the thing to do than! Sheep! > They are popular because a lot of people hate to be seen > in a minivan. So true! ;-) Last time talking to my SUV driving ex-wife, she had sold the suv I had given her, for a mini-van for herself and a little p-up for her new hubby. she was laughing as hse had been soooo anti minivan, but felt it was easier to put three kids into...funny that is what so many people say about their SUV's... They > are popular because the public has been smitten by clever > commercials of > adventures in remote and beautiful places. now that is my biiig issue. I do drive a SUV...a Land-Rover Discovery, but the leather seats have been torn out and reside permanently in the garage...the interior is set up for camping and use as a work truck, this one would never be confused as a mall cruiser ;-) I take it to those remote places, and DO NOT want to be seeing anyone in their exploder, or whatever out there so I have outfitted the beast in a way it can go where no stock SUV can even dream of going...I have been so amused that people NEED 4wd to drive to downtown in california! all image..
