The shop owner who installed the TIICO in mine changes his every 2 years. His primary vehicle is used as a daily driver and offroad extensively in summer, and periodically in winter. I'm going with the 2 year change myself. I've also go the MTL Redline Syn in mine. $30.00 or so every 2 years doesn't seem like much of an expense for the investment. Bob Stevens '87 Syncro Westy Listees: Anyone have a feel for how often you should replace the Synthetic MTL Redline fluid in a rebuilt 4 speed in a 90 GL? Seems like the old stuff(non synthetic)was to stay in there more or less for life. Any input greatly apreciated as we approach 20k on the Weddle rebuild and I must say, it's working really well.
