Greatings in 2003. Got some news that might help some of you.

I have had this intermittant hesitation and no power problem. I have done various things and some helped and some didn't. I actually think that I had more than one problem and just fixed some of them in the troubleshooting process. Since having the engine rebuilt and heads replaced, this no power problem seemed to be back. In checking, it turns out that these problems (along with occasional missing) can be caused by the Hall sensor (in the distributor). Sure enough, that is what the problem was. Have not had any problems with no power since replacing the Hall sensor. Almost up to my first oil change mileage for the rebuilt engine. All is going well so far.
