Subject:   Theft prevention: pain generator?

I'm finally getting around to adding a few theft deterrents to make my Westy less attractive to would-be thieves (yes, I know it is already UGLY and rusty, and covered in controversial bumper stickers). I remember reading once that a maker of alarm systems advertised an optional 'pain generator' that screeched so loudly that the thief would run screaming from the vehicle. Has anyone here used such a deterrent, or have any other ideas as to what else would provide the desired effect? Assuming at this point the thief ignored the red flashing LED in the middle of the instrument cover. I'd just like to add one last deterrent in case someone really wants this old thing, when the dog isn't there to bark growl and bite!

Karl
