If it really needs to be adjusted, than consider that the pin mounting is worn. Prepare to disassemble and replace the worn parts as needed.

Hi all,

87 Syncro with about an inch of freeplay before the shaft makes contact with the master cylinder. In the Bentley, I see you can adjust the shaft just like a brake pedal. But how do you get in there?

I've tried going through the instrument cluster, from underneath, and behind the fuse box. Anyone done this before?
