One of those came on mine. I use a 4-bike bike rack in it, but imagine, because of its brawn, that it can carry light trailering. That area of the van is pretty stout and all the connecting points are very solid, large bolts, etc. Not certain but I believe PO paid $150.00 for it. No pretense of any engineering know-how here, just my simple ovservation and experience with past hitches, past vehicles.

A couple of days ago I found a vw van in a junk yard with a trailer hitch that bolts onto the steel tie down loops under the rear bumper.

Not a real heavy duty bar, but very strong & sturdy . What is this thing worth ? It is complete with the ball. If anyone is interested, e-me.
