Happy New Year to all of you. I am in the process of replacing my fuel lines on my 1987 Vanagaon with 2.1 and would like to hear form you good folks on a couple of issues i have. Is there a special type of fuel line i must use? I am not sure how much pressure the FI system generates. Any idea how many feet of fuel line i will need? What did you folks do for the short (3") fuel line that goes from the injectors to the fuel rail? These 4 hoses are part of the injector. Do these also develop leaks in the long run? I have heard that what can be done on these injector lines is: is cut fuel line with a sharp knife and use a dremel to grind away the small metal "plate" that holds the line to the injector. Then you simply cut a new length of line to replace and add to a clamp to secure to the injector line. Any one try this out there? I thnks you in advance for your advice.
