It's been my observation that the Tiico engine, when cold and with 15W50 Mobil 1, will push oil pressures over 100psi. I have heard/read that Fram, FLAPS brands, etc., are not strong enough to handle that kind of pressure. Many folks, including this list, warn of filters splitting or popping and then you are out of luck on the roadside. Not to mention the nasty clean-up.

I use the OC47 and have had no problems yet.
