Hello,

not all 5 Cylinder Turbo engines do use flywheel controlled timing. I guess this was introduced with the newer engines with cat converter. But you may move the pickup to the pulley and add a gear over there which indicates the OT. Or use a different sensor like those for add-on tachs. There are several ways around that problem, but I haven't heard about. Those swaps with flywheel controlled ignition are not very common over here.
