I'm planning a 4-5 weeks trip to the four corners states (CO, NM, AZ, UT) and I've been told that camping in the Parks (State and National) is almost only for RV's and that we'd be stuck between two RV's every night... This is not really what I'm thinking of a stay in that region. And I'm pretty sure this is not totally true. Can you comment this? Are there more Westy type campgrounds (privates maybe)? Is it possible (easy) to camp in nice (not organized) spots? Do you know of any? Bruno Westfalia '88 160,000miles, original motor, original heads, original radiator, lots of water pumps... |
