Check the warnings in the box on Bentley (in my thru 1989 issue) page 28.31. (Yes, it's in the Digijet section but should apply to all Hall Effect Units). Westy wouldn't start after driving it and it being parked for about five minutes. Turn the key and nothing - electrical is fine but starter doesn't turn over. The hall unit has failed three times previously in about the last 25k miles. And symptoms are the same this time. What keeps causing this? Luckily, each time it's failed the Westy was parked in the driveway. thanks.
