Yep, you'll do it now, or do it later...... It can be easier to get at the clutch by removing the transmission instead of the engine. And by the way, I was thinking of the wrong vehicle when I mentioned the "gland nut and its bearing". I was referring to the five bolts that hold on the flywheel and the needle bearing behind it, as on page 13.7, 13.9, 13.36 and 13.40, as appropriate.
