Place the van someplace warm, like a garage, or Florida. Once the cable is unfrozen, spray WD-40 from one end of the cable until it comes out of the other end. But if you REALLY feel strongly about solving this problem the right way, I'd replace the cable. Bringing ideas to life, G. Volks, I sold my Syncro Turbo Diesel to a nice couple in Victoria. I got the van detailed and when they cleaned the motor some water got into the throttle cable. Seeing how it is below freezing outside the throttle will now stick. Any idea on an easy way of getting this out? I don't want the customer to experience a stuck throttle on their way home (or ever really). Help!
