I once drove quite a distance (10-15 mi.) banging against the rev limiter in
my dad's 85 West. Wolf. that was loaded to the gills with Porsche parts. I
was in third doing roughly 65. To my credit, the motor was buried under so
much junk that I could hear nothing from it. I assumed that the inability to
go over 65 was due to the load.
Give me a break... I was 18 at the time.
