Subject: Total Cost of a complete engine overhaul
Content-type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

Does anyone happen have a ball park figure for redoing all the major driveline components? I mean beyond the engine replacement to:

Injectors fuel lines coolant hoses ECU AMM wiring (?) Oxy Sensor temp sensors alternato ( the bosches on my '87 900S and '85 SPG SAABS are fine - but what the hey) water pump (new one already on current engine) exhaust system (got the STEBRO SS muffler already) anything else I didn't think of

I ask because I want to make our van something I don't have to worry about on long trips and I figure once I have the rebuild - I might as well put all new components on it as opposed to waiting for the next 13 year-old component to fail in the middle of no-where.

Thanks in advance.
