Subject: 80 Westy parts/restore Tow Away
Content-type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

There is a 1980 Westy in PA that the owner wants to removed from his driveway. He's a great guy and is more concerned that it find a useful home than he is about getting any money for it. I was set to take advantage of the offer but the timing is not right for me - he would like to be done with it this month if possible. Thought I'd post it here to see if anyone else would like it. This is his original ad:

I have a 80 Westy with the engine out and partailly disassembled. Trans has 15k on it. Needs shocks and brakes. Engine has stuck lifter, I was in the middle of a rebuild and got company car. Need to unload before moving. Don't want it to go to the junkyard. Has working top. Refrig and sink do not work. A bit of rust by the hookups. Great parts car, or servicable. In Southern Lancaster County, PA
