If you're speaking of the T piece that splits the line to run a hose to your rear heater, it's relativlely straight forward. It's in a slightly awkward position, and goggles are recommended as you'll be lying on your back under the bus with the old dirt falling on you.

The Ts in my bus were aluminum I think and weeping a bit. The new VW dealer T--in my bus there are actually 2, I got were plastic and seem to be working fine after several years.

The tricky part, as always, is bleeding the coolant system when you refill with coolant. If you haven't done the bleeding of the system before, consult the list again.
