Thanks gents!

The repair went smoothly, other than some scuffed knuckles. The leaky "T" forced me to swap in the two new hoses I'd been carrying around for a couple of months (T to R head and T to TStat housing). All is well now, no drips, temp gauge hovers at same level as before repair.

I managed to lose only about 4 litres of coolant from the "T", and plugged the smaller hose that leads to the rad before a lot more fluid came out. I drove the front up on the ramps and bled a few bubbles out of the rad, but after 5-10 minutes there were no more. So...a couple questions:

1) Is that all there is, or is there more bleeding to do?

2) I've been adding about 1 litre of 50:50 blue stuff per month for the last 6 months or so, plus the 4 to 5 litres added in today. Is an 80% coolant replacement almost as good as a full flush, or should I plan to a proper flush in the spring?

~Eric~
