Hello, everyone.

I've decided to part out (what's left of) my 1986 Audi Coupe GT. In light of recent threads about depositing Audi 5000 engines into Vanagons, I'd prefer to offer parts here first.

Basically the only things of interest for Vanagon purposes is the engine and fuel system. The KX engine is a naturally aspirated 2.2L five-cylinder in good shape (unknown mileage), pulled well up to 112mph in the Coupe while I was driving it (though it's probably not quite so peppy if dropped into a Vanagon. :) If you want this, it would include the ignition module and all the CIS-specific intake and fuel delivery bits including the fuel pump, ECU, air box, and everything.

The car also has a digital dash that I'd like to sell separately, but would make a beautiful addition to a 5-cylinder equipped Vanagon if it fits OK around the brake fluid reservoir. It's a variant of the ur-quattro's dash, backlit red LCD (not LED) with a tach, speedometer, temp and fuel gauge, clock, and trip computer. Digital LED light-bar volt and oil temp gauges are on a separate panel on the center console.

Any other parts may be available, except for interior parts and exterior cladding, all of which came pre-thrashed (I bought the car two years ago as an "I need to cheaply move across country by yesterday and in a vehicle I know how to fix" fury) thanks to the previous owner. If you want the engine/fuel system, it would be preferable for you to take the car in entirety as I have no means of removing it.

The wheels are unavailable, and four-lug anyway; I think only the 5kq's had five-lug wheels.

I live in metro Detroit. P-mail any questions, offers, or picture requests (if you're really interested.)
