Yep, you'll do it now, or do it later...... It can be easier to get at the clutch by removing the transmission instead of the engine. And by the way, I was thinking of the wrong vehicle when I mentioned the "gland nut and its bearing". I was referring to the five bolts that hold on the flywheel and the needle bearing behind it, as on page 13.7, 13.9, 13.36 and 13.40, as appropriate. Was thinking of an older bug, etc. with the one big gland nut. tx, bmc :) Ben McCafferty ben@volkscafe.com
