Rival car dealerships burning each other? Is this supposed to be a bad thing? ;)

The day we cede this list to FS ads that don't list any price guidance it is no longer a community help forum. Prices should be guided by supply vs. demand and not some poor hapless soul who gets duped because he knows no better. If the price is fair then why not share it? That said I think it is fair to adjust price according to level of hassle, buying other big items etc.

I am happy to pay Ken at Vanagain and the other excellent list vendors perhaps a bit more than the part might cost elsewhere. Usually they are competitive and provide a service to the community while doing it.
