I have a 3 brand new pistons & sleeves that were given to me after the PO threw a piston when driving down the Alcan (he left his 88 gl in 2nd gear, driving at 70 on gravel roads. He claimed he couldn't hear the high rpms. He is 6'7", so maybe he didn't look down to see them 6000 rpm either!)

Anyway, he had his 2.1L repaired. A shop in Olympia WA, did a fantastic job. However, they also ordered and charged him for a set of 4 pistons, of which he only used 1.

The 88 GL owner gave me the pistons when he heard I had a 2.1L 86 in my Westy.

I'm not anticipating needing these any time soon, and would like to get rid of them. They are taking up precious space and weigh a lot. Hate moving them around.

Would anyone be able to tell me a fair amount that these might be worth selling for?

I am in Portland, Oregon and don't really want to ship them if I don't have to. I'd be happy to sell them to a local buyer if possible. If I can't find one, then I'd try to pass them on outside Portland.

Thanks in advanced,

cheers, dave :) _______________
