Mike; Excellent question. I would say it depends on the quality of the pats you are replacing. There are probably people out there running the original plug wires. On the other hand I am replacing my plug wires about every 16 months. Luckily they have a lifetime warranty. In my truck's case, it's time to replace ignition parts when it is hard to start on humid mornings.
