I smelled gasoline this weekend as I took my temperamental Vanagon on a city
wide adventure. I discovered I have a steady drip  (one drip every 2
seconds) of gas coming from passenger side of the van (about equidistant
between the front and rear wheels). Looking underneath it seems as the gas
is dripping out of a boxed frame beam running the length of the underbody.
Is there a gas line in there? How would one go about getting at it?
