3.2 liter 911 engines have a way of breaking even the beefier Porsche 901 trannies. I'd hate to see what it can do to the fragile Vanagon box that even a 4-cyl WBX is able to break.

Have you considered going to a G-50 the way MSDS did them? Or possibly a 915 or 901 trans?
