Subject: Fuel filler assembly parts needed
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi all,

I need a couple parts that are I think are specific to the California aircooled vanagon.

I need the two cast fuel filler assembly parts. This is the part that the fuel pump nozzle goes into, and the part that goes behind the filler assembly that the front part screws into. I know, confusing, but that's the best explanation I can give. Sanwiched between these two pieces is a rubber gasket. This gasket protrudes in wards, and is fastened to the fuel filler neck with a big hose clamp. The parts I need are the two pieces that sandwich that gasket. Three screws hold them together. I believe the California one is a smaller diameter than the federal one. The opening for the nozzle is just big enough for the nozzle. About 1 inch.

If anyone has one of theses that's not all rusty, and has three good screws that go with it, please e-mail me. Mine has two snapped screws and is all rusty.

Thanks Greg 82 Cali Westy.
