Sounds like the steering rack and the steering wheel need to be centered
first.
If these two items are correct then just pray that your steering parts
haven't grown any since you aligned it last.
I've found lots of weird stuff on old vehicles .......... PO was a pot
smoker or from Northern California, you know really weird.
