Suspension & Tire Experts, My "new to me" '88 Wolfsburg has a harsh ride over the small seams in the road. It handles larger bumps without an issue. Tires are "C" rated Michelins, 80% tread and properly inflated. I've never had this specific problem on any of my other Vanagons and thought I ask the list before blindly changing components. Shocks? Springs? Hard tires was suggested by someone, unfortunately, I don't have alloys on any of my other vans. I guess I could put steel wheeled tires on for testing. Any thoughts or suggestions are sincerely appreciated. Ciao, Jeff |
