I just bought a flojet pump to replace my existing pump and i just realized that it is not the kind that sits in the water, you mount it somewhere close to the tank and then i think run a hose from the pump to the tank and also from the pump to the faucet. anyway, before i install it i was wondering if anyone has any experience with these pumps and how well they work. thanks,~Gordy
I install about 10 of these flowjets a week in a very harsh enviroment. In street sweet sweeper water systems. I have found them to be very reliable if you filter the suction side of the pump. The majority of problems I see are related to dirty water, freezing, or bad electrical connections. If you have any questions let me know. In response to the O-ring dilemma. I worked for John Deere Industrial for 8 years. None of the new equipment came in with rtv on O-ring, only a light coating of grease. The grease was to keep things slick, that is all. O-ring seal fine the way they come. Felix Crunk |
