When I turn the key the starter clicks once. The engine does not turn over. I have checked the electrical connectionals. The smaller red wires that go into the engine compartment are cooroded. This has steadily gotten worse. I used to be able to wiggle the wires on the starter and it would start. Now that it is real cold it just clicks once. I don't think the starter coil itself is getting any power. I have the bently CD for this but I'm not clear on how this works. I do have a flakey nuetral-park switch. But as long as the starter clicks I think the switch is working? Thanks for your help. |
