Well, did you raise the front (and rear!), i won't elaborate on that subject to much but to make a long story short: Run the van, raise the front, bleed the van!!! (and rear would help also on the 1.9L) I just did my 84 and it took 4 bleeding before the temp was back to normal, i also raised the back the last time. My conclusion is that there is a big difference (bleeding system) between the 1.9L and 2.1. (1.9 is missing the self bleeding ring in the back!!!big difference! http://www3.sympatico.ca/huotx/bleeding.htm The 1.9L will never get rid of those remaining bubble, the 2.1L will!!! It's a pain in the but!!! Cheers, Ben http://pages.infinit.net/eurokit/
>>>>>>>I have just replaced a heater hose. I have read the threads and Bentley about bleeding. I am not sure about how much bleeding to do front and rear. The front seems to be done when the coolant pours out, right? I still seem to have a lot of bubbles, small, as I run the system open and closed. I have a blinking red light until hot and suspect air in the system. What next<<<<<<<<< |
