I have a starting problem. It's a 88 Vanagon wolfsburg addition with an Automatic. This is it,turn the key motor dose not turn over, but if I jump out the solenoid it will start so this is not the problem. I checked the Red/ black wire at the starter solenoid and there is no 12 volt at that point. I went to the starter switch and turned it and had the 12 volts. I traced the wire (Red/black) to the Fuse/Relay Block and lost it there. I couldn't find where it comes back out to the wire harness to the rear of the van Has anybody had this problem before.
Thank You John Russ Gloucester MA It;s 9 degrees today 1986 Vanagon 1988 Vanagon |
