Good story - glad it had a happy ending. Every once in a while I'll come out from under my shell and hire out a repair. EACH and every time I get burned!!! <grin> The last one was I hired out an alternator replacement on my grandfather's Lumina. I used a shop that did machine shop work for me occasionally for me. Got the car home and found they had left out a bracket bolt. Damn - back to my own repairs... <grin> Makes me very uncomfortable to let someone else work on my car when I know I can and will do a better job!
