I've put 40K on my set until they gave in.  No coil problems.  I do remember
that the Vanagon ran better with the +4s versus the regular Bosh plugs and I
did back-to-back comparison one day.


How about putting a high-performance coil in the Vanagon?  They make them
for the air-cooled engines and they should work in the Vanagoons as well,
right?
