My Westy, which I bought in PA and brought to Michigan, was registered there as a motorhome. This provoked a debate among the clerks at the Secretary of State office here as to whether to register it as a van or motorhome. Eventually it was titled in Michigan as a motorhome. I'm not sure if this carries any benefits here. My insurance company doesn't offer any discount for it.
