Subject: Propex Heaters?? Enough heat?

Can those of you using Propex heaters report on your actual sue results (real experience)..... Heat output, propane and battery drain, etc.??

I once owned a Eurovan camper that had a 12,000btu Suburban heater that was great (the best thing about the camper, in fact). I'm curious if the heat output of the Propex is sufficient.....seems like 6000btu may not make the grade.

I know answers will be relative to the length of time in use and the outside temperature while camping.

My particular interest is for cold nights and early mornings while camping in the CA Sierra's in the spring and fall (fishing season).....not for long term stays in the snow.

TIA,

Warren C.
