Hi,

I have no experience with the Eastwood stuff... but do know that the POR-15
actually likes rust!  It forms its best bond to rusted surfaces, and seals
to an epoxy hard finish that allows no oxygen in (no air = no rust...
right??)

I know what a pain the prep is for these projects... sucks that you had to
go over several areas TWICE!!  I have noticed that if I do not clean the
areas throughly enough with the Marine Clean product, that any little fleck
of oil, or silikon, or paint, will make that area just "bead up" drawing the
POR-15 away from the "dirty" area, and there is nothing you can do... a
second coat will be repelled just as much as the first.
